Flying (and why I hate it)

“Ding!” You are now free to panic as you fly across the country. I hate flying. I get a nervous stomach at least 24 hours before I have to go to the airport and I break into a small sweat when they call my row. Why do I do it? Because I will NEVER let this fear keep me at home. However, it is very real and my heart goes out to anyone who cannot get on a place because of it.

Tomorrow I am flying to Denver and I am already freaking out – will it be bumpy? Is it safe with the recent storms? God, please don’t be too bumpy.

Wine helps. Maybe one day I’ll take a class or something so that I don’t think ever ding is our engine stalling.

Sigh, I really wish Capt Sullenberger (sp?) was my person pilot.

Meeting the twins

It’s only Tuesday, but I am SO excited to finally meet my twin nieces this weekend. I follow Kelly’s blog and cannot believe how much they have already grown.

I am a bit (or a lot) nervous for the feedings, and have NO experience with diapers or anything of the sort – I have a feeling I am going to learn real quick.

Lakers!!

Don’t call me a fair weather Lakers fan – ever. I may not watch every game, who has the time?? But, they are the only team I have never ever strayed from and will always have a spot in my heart. I grew up worshipping the dream team of the 1980s with Magic, etc., and Kobe tonight reminded me of that. I am SO stoked for this series.

Beat Orlando!!
