What do you miss about San Diego? I haven’t answered that question in awhile but since we were with many of our San Diego friends this weekend for a wedding, it came up quite a bit. Colorado is our true home and we are 100% happy and confident with our decision to move back in 2010.
But I’d be lying if I said there was nothing about sunny San Diego that I missed. So, here’s my list:
- Parking my car on Friday after work and using a cruiser bike as my main mode of transportation for the rest of the weekend. After a really relaxing weekend it was often hard to remember where my car was parked by Monday morning
- Acai bowls from The Big Squeeze
- 5+ hour beach days…the morning to sunset sessions being the absolute best
- Chargers “Sunday fun days”
- Super fresh seafood from Bay Park Fish Company (which I learned this weekend isn’t as good as it used to be, and that makes me sad!)
- Strolling through the Little Italy Farmer’s Market on Saturday with my dear friend Cindy. We always saved room for a Yogurtland stop
- Being a car or train ride away from my Los Angeles family and friends
- The views from any vantage point in La Jolla or Bird Rock. Those ocean views make you believe in a higher power
- The amazing friends we made in San Diego that we do not get to see very often anymore. We had some really fun, memorable years together
Go Chargers!!
