First iPhone picture circa January 2010.
I thought it would be fun to share the very first picture on my iPhone, which I purchased just before we packed up our lives in San Diego for the Mile High City.
What I love about this picture is that we had just arrived in Colorado. Mike’s sister and brother-in-law were kind enough to take us in while we looked for jobs and figured out what the heck we were doing next. Little did I know in this picture that we’d be engaged about two months later, I would be starting an amazing job at GroundFloor Media and Mike would be accepted into CU Denver for his masters program.
Yet, we still had huge grins on our faces despite being totally freaked out by the move. Well, at least I was royally freaked when it become official that I had quit a great job to move to a new state.
That was a really special and important time in our lives.
I remember the “memorable” drive from SD to Denver…..do you guys remember that “ELk”…….I still think about him everytime Dad and I are getting close to Green River…..This was the start of a new chapter for you and Mike.
